1. Two days were spent on the new
school property, painting the last coat. The town workers finished the
large cement pad between the two buildings and now we begin the tile in
the bathrooms and fixtures. The group also painted in pastor Antonio's
house and helped Josh Rose put the tin on his roof.
2. Some of us went right out to the mountain ahead
of the rest to begin work on the walls for the construction of the
airplane hangar. My what a big job that was! The Indians had most of
the about 3,000 adobes ready and Steve Barbour from WY and Josh Bullard,
who is the director of the school drove the tractor every day with
loads of brick to the building site. Steve filled in the airstrip with
the dozer and our pilot friend, Mark was happy with the smoother
landing! The guys along with Ellis McMath of BTM mission cut down more
trees too! There was a welding crew who worked long hours too!
3. The Lord answered prayer with a good supply of
the spring water, the kids were very thankful that they could at least
hose off all the mud splats! There was a great group of guys welding
the metal trusses, 52 feet long, and they would come back to the cabin
every
day totally black! Ed could hardly believe that the walls are up and the trusses are built!
4.
We can't thank this great group from OK and WY and NM enough for their
willingness to come and work together in the heat and the dirt and
accomplish in a little time what would take us much time to finish!
They each gave financially to the school project, what a blessing! May
their work be rewarded in this life and in our heavenly home!
