Night before.....

7 hours and 15 minutes before wake up call, and then heading to DIA for departure at 8 AM.
We have two carry on bags, and two to check.....absolutely stuffed with all the extra clothes we could get in them. All extra clothes will be for Cassilda and the girls. I don't know what additional fees it will cost us, but I'm not unpacking them now!
We are staying at the Lacy's, (myself and the Haas family). The Haas family we drive us to Denver and see us off.......Goodnight all!

Running out of time

Here it is Wednesday, before Chloe and I leave for Chaparral NM on Monday next week.   I have so much to do, before being gone for 2 weeks. Packing is the easy part anymore, as it doesn't take much for me to travel in the clothing department, work clothes and one set of descent attire for Church.
The scheduling of work, for the employees, while I'm gone is the hard part....especially when the calls come in daily for 'help' on the water well service. Even when I'm here, the schedule changes all the time....oh well, the men will just have to handle it.....I'm going to focus on the 'mission' and let them take care of business issues!

Talked to Ed yesterday, and they will be on the road this week back to Chaparral and then on to Mexico. They will be stopping in Oklahoma City to visit and maybe speak at CHA.
I sure am starting to get excited about the 1st of June......thats coming up mighty fast!

I have invited team members from Oklahoma CHA to join this blog.
I guess it is their prerogative to use this site, or build their own. I would hope we might all post on this page....I think the different pictures and thoughts shared would make an interesting read!

Note from Christian Heritage Academy

Recieved this note today from Mr. Bullard, 'Head Master' at CHA......all part of the story!

Steve,
We are excited about getting to be with you again, and to get to meet your granddaughter.
We just had another Mexico Mission Trip group meeting this morning. Things are coming along well. The more Mr. Holmes and Mrs. Glenn do this, the better they get at planning - and they really have things progressing well this year. I believe that we have a very good group of kids and sponsors this year. I am really looking forward to the trip.
I look forward to staying in touch between now and June.
Blessings,
Josh
I copied this to Mr. Holmes and Mrs. Glenn. Feel free to email them if you have any questions or ideas - we are always open to good ideas!

June 1-12 Mexico Missions

I have been in contact with the Capps, whom are in NC at Missions Conference and visiting family. They will be heading back to El Paso in a week, then traveling on to Guachochi....then back to the border to meet the 'Group'.....Oklahoma Christian Heritage Academy, students, teachers and family along with myself and granddaughter Chloe. The Okies will leave on the 1st, and we most likely will cross into Mexico on the 2nd or 3rd. Much to do between now and then....
I am super excited to have Chloe along on the trip....what an experience it will be for her.

It's been almost a year since posting for this page, and now time to start planning for this years trip to Mexico.

We did not make a winter trip this year, as I hoped the time would be better spent with Ed working on the airplane.......and he is getting some things done towards completion!

Towards the end  of May, or first of June, I hope to join the group from Oklahoma...Christian Heritage Academy as I have for the last three years. Always fun to meet new people in the group and reunite with friends from the past....
